Interview Pair

Terms of Service

Last updated 28th September, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] for the use of Interview Pair. By creating an account you accept them. Section three is the one we would most like you to read.

1. Who we are

Interview Pair is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What the service does

Interview Pair listens to audio on your computer, can read your screen when you ask it to, and drafts suggested answers in an overlay window. It is a drafting aid. The answers are generated by an AI model, they can be wrong, and deciding what to say remains yours.

We do not promise that using Interview Pair will get you a job, an offer, or an interview outcome of any kind.

3. Your responsibility during interviews

You are responsible for whether you are allowed to use Interview Pair in any interview, assessment or examination you use it in.

Many employers, recruiters, universities and testing providers prohibit outside assistance. Using this software where it is not permitted may breach the rules you agreed to, and may cost you the role, the offer or your standing with that organisation. Some assessments are covered by rules where a breach carries consequences well beyond a lost application.

It is your job to check the rules that apply to you and to follow them. You use Interview Pair at your own risk, and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for any consequence of using it where it was not permitted. We give no advice on whether any particular use is allowed.

The software hides its window from screen sharing and screen recording. That is a product feature for privacy on your own machine. It is not a representation that concealing assistance is permitted, lawful, or free of consequences in your situation.

4. Your account

You must be at least 18. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to impersonate someone else.
  • Upload a CV or other material that is not yours to use.
  • Resell, sublicense or share access, or run it on behalf of other people as a service.
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, extract our prompts or models, or reverse engineer the software except where the law says you may.
  • Interfere with the service or place an unreasonable load on it.

6. Plans and payment

  • The free plan includes 1 live interviews. Once used, you need a paid plan to start another.
  • Pro costs $39 per month, or the equivalent in your local currency where we offer one. Local prices are set by us and are not a currency conversion of the dollar price.
  • Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • If a renewal payment fails we may retry it. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for, after which it stops.
  • We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days notice by email before a change affects them.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Your content

Your CVs, job descriptions and transcripts remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store that content, and to send it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy so an answer can be drafted. We do not use it to train AI models, and we claim no other rights over it.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Interview Pair running but we do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults. It depends on third-party AI services that can change, slow down or fail. We may change or withdraw features. The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Limits on our liability

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.

Subject to that, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for lost opportunities, lost offers, lost earnings, reputational harm, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

10. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY / STATE WHOSE LAW GOVERNS], and disputes go to the courts of [CITY WHOSE COURTS HEAR DISPUTES]. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
